Most likely made in or around 1947, the writing on the back of the blade indicates that this is a vintage Salesman Sample Schrade Walden Senator. It’s is in good condition with only a few surface scratches on the 10k Gold Fill handles. Both the mirror polished, 1-3/4” stainless steel pen blade and nail file have a good snap.

The front tang stamp reads: Schrade [over] Cut. Co. [over] Walden, N.Y. The back of the tang stamp reads: 94 [over] 500. The writing on the blade reads: M1707 Gold. In very small script on the back handle is “1/20 10K GFe” indicating 1/20th of the weight is 10 karat gold fill.
