Discovered by professional divers in the rivers and off the coast of South Carolina where they cut into the exposed Hawthorn Formation, to find these fossils. The Megalodon is the largest predatory shark that ever lived. Large enough to bite a T-Rex in half its primary diet was whales. A shark loses approximately 25,000 teeth in its life time, with a fossil rate of 1 in a million.
