The Magpul FDE CTR Carbine Stock Mil-Spec features a Compact Type Restricted Mil-Spec model that is a drop-in replacement buttstock for the AR15 and M16 carbines using Mil-Spec sized receiver extension tubes. The streamlined A-Frame profile is designed for light and fast action, and it avoids snagging and accidental release latch activation. It also has a friction lock to give the weapon stability by minimizing friction movement. A QD sling mount accepts any push-button sling swivel and a 0.3" thick rubber butt pad prevents slipping on the shoulder, even with body armor and other gear. It's compatible with Magpul ASAP, ASAP QD and other receiver-mount sling attachments. For sling mounts it uses for the Rear, a push-button QD swivel sling mount accommodates up to 1.5" swivels (ambidextrous). For the Rear/Bottom it uses 1.25" sling loops, and for the Toe it uses a lanyard hole for custom paracord rigs. It has a maximum length of 6.9" and a weight of 8.8 ounces.
