The blackened steel tsuba tells a story of a creeping mantis and his unsuspecting prey, the gentle cricket. The mantis is himself stalked by the legendary Golden Oriole, proving that the tale never unfolds quite the way you expect. The handles are genuine rayskin with a traditional cord-wrap, hand-sculpted brass accents, and a brass throat. Includes a lacquered blue wooden scabbard, a sword maintenance kit, and a protective cloth cover.
