Overview
While most tomahawks are chopping tools there was a less popular alternative known as a spontoon hawk. Made with a blade expressly designed for piercing it was capable of delivering deep puncture wounds that were quite lethal. The Cold Steel Spontoon Hawk features a drop forged 1055 carbon steel head with a 5" hawk blade on one side and hammer on the opposite and an American Hickory handle. It measures 22" overall.
