These Civil War Three-Ring Union Bullets Set of 2, Atlanta, GA were used during the invasion of Georgia during the American Civil War Atlanta Campaign, July 22, 1864. The 3-Ring Minie Ball bullets were dropped by hurried Union Soldiers just north of Atlanta. The fall of this city would lead to Sherman's March to the Sea and the Union occupation of Georgia. This important piece of history was rescued from development by metal detectorists on private property.
