The African Sjambok (pronounced sham-bawk) is used as a cattle prod, whip, riding crop and for self-protection, especially effective against deadly snakes. The Sjambok is traditionally carved whole from hippopotamus hide. Cold Steel designed this updated version with input from Peter Mueller.
