Paws and Stripes™ is non-profit organization that provides service dogs to veterans of our United States military that are wounded with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or Traumatic Brain Injury. It is the aim of this organization to provide these dogs and training for no cost to the veteran. The service dogs are chosen only from shelters by the veterans themselves, with dog and veteran then training together. Paws and Stripes™ was founded by veterinary assistant Lindsey Stanek and wounded military veteran Jim Stanek after their own positive with Jim's service dog, Sarge.
