In 2001, Smoky Mountain Knife Works introduced Barbwire Bone. Designed by SMKW veteran Brian Wilhoite, it was the first custom jigging pattern from CaseŽ in over ten years. Led by company president Kevin Pipes, we have continued to bring you dozens of knives featuring exclusive handle patterns and custom colors. In recent years, CaseŽ opened the door for more intricate handle designs when they began using lasers. This installment of Barbwire Bone will make the transition from a jig to a lasered handle pattern, showing that CaseŽ and SMKWŽ continue to bring you exclusive custom collectibles using the most innovative designs and tools available while holding on to the traditions that brought us to where we are today.
